The DVD is the second edition of The Five Finger Paragraph© DVD (for HomeSchool/HomeStudy) with Author/Illustrator Johnnie W. Lewis demonstrating "how to write" both paragraphs AND two methods of writing essays.  It's like she was in your living room TEACHING this method!  This DVD is only recommended for use in homes where the receiving student is in the sixth grade or above.  This is not a hard and fast rule, but students in sixth-seventh grade and above should be able to write paragraphs and essay with instructions from the video rather than having to have a parent give the instructions from the book.  The DVD should not be used as the only method of instruction for students under sixth grade level, because they may need help and clarification from an adult in order to understand what's taught. 

The ebook Charts help to reinforce the methods taught by providing a "practice sheet" for the student to write paragraphs and essays on while learning. Charts are emailed to you in .pdf format.

The DVD can be played on almost any DVD player purchased in North America.  It can also be played on computers which have a DVD software program installed, such as Power DVD.  A free version of Windows Media Player Classic is also available for download from Microsoft, if you do not have a DVD player or a DVD program on your computer.
